The Vice President (VP) of Customer Success is a crucial role at House Buyers of America, serving as a vital liaison between our company and its clientele. The individual in this position ensures that customers attain their goals while using our services, leading to a high rate of customer satisfaction. By improving customer retention and fostering new business, the VP of Customer Success increases the company's overall growth and profitability.
Responsibilities- Lead our customer success team with broad scope: hire, train, and inspire an excellent team focused on delivering top‑tier customer service.
- Develop and implement customer success strategies, processes, and procedures to improve customer retention, satisfaction, and loyalty.
- Use data‑driven decision‑making to improve customer experiences and effectively address customer concerns. Create standards for evaluating the customer relationship's health and success rate.
- Offer operational guidance during implementations, focused on customer needs and business objectives.
- Work collaboratively alongside Leadership and Product Development teams, providing relevant feedback concerning product improvements, based on customer responses and desires.
- Create strategic plans to onboard new customers smoothly, providing them guidance during their initial phase.
- Communicate company culture and core values to your team and customers.
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in Customer Success, Client Services, Account Management, or a comparable field is required. Experience in real estate is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Real Estate, or a related discipline. A Master's degree would be an added bonus.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Experience in data‑driven decision‑making and the ability to use data analysis tools effectively.
- Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a penchant for building relationships.
- Understanding of CRM systems and practices, plus prior experience with CRM software.
