We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support complex, long-term projects within a growing organization. This role will partner closely with project management and operational teams to provide financial oversight, cost control, forecasting, and billing support for large, multi-year programs. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

• Partner with project management teams to develop accurate project budgets, forecasts, and staffing plans
• Monitor project financial performance through regular budget‑to‑actual analysis, identifying variances and root causes
• Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to ensure projects remain cash‑positive throughout their lifecycle
• Manage and support complex monthly billing processes in accordance with contract terms
• Track contracts, change orders, under‑billings, and accounts receivable activity
• Provide cost analysis and financial insights to support decision‑making for project leaders and executives
• Lead or participate in regular project financial reviews and key project meetings
• Assist project teams with preparation of monthly financial reporting packages
• Support procurement planning and monitor purchasing activity against established plans
• Enter and manage orders and work authorizations within internal systems
• Resolve billing issues and assist with timely invoice submission and collection
• Prepare ad‑hoc financial reports and participate in recurring operational and financial meetings

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4‑5+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably supporting project‑based environments
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
• Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
