Position Title: Accounts Receivable Analyst

Location: McLean, VA (On-site)

Assignment Type: Permanent Hire

Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000 / Annually

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join a growing accounting team within a fast-paced, technology-focused organization. This role supports the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly invoices, record cash receipts, and support AR collections efforts.
  • Analyze financial data to produce variance reports, trend analyses, and account activity summaries.
  • Ensure accurate classification of costs across accounts and projects.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Assist with annual and periodic audits, including preparation of supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project tracking, reporting, and closeout activities.
  • Contribute to special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or finance.
  • Experience in a government contracting environment required.
  • Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
