Regional Banking Manager – Charles Schwab

Join us as a Regional Banking Manager (RBM) in our Bank Sales team. The RBM is a subject matter authority focused on deepening understanding of Schwab’s products and services among Financial Consultants (FCs) in retail branches and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) who use Schwab for client custody.

Location: 100% remote (ideal candidates located in Washington DC, Bethesda MD, Tysons Corner VA, Reston VA, Millburn NJ, Paramus NJ, Princeton NJ, Red Bank NJ, Bridgewater NJ).

Eligibility: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without employer sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a deeper understanding of Schwab’s products and services among FCs and RIAs.
  • Support business development activities by building and enhancing affiliations with banking and brokerage field partners.
  • Influence stakeholders, provide closing sales support, and deliver tailored product/technical knowledge for all Bank offerings.
  • Analyze business impacts and proactively address issues to safeguard company outcomes.
  • Maintain strong internal and external client focus with an emphasis on client experience.
  • Lead a large territory, travel as needed, and manage multiple tasks while staying organized and responsive.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Series 7 and 63/66 licensing.
  • 5+ years of relationship management experience developing enhanced affiliations with bank or brokerage partners.
  • Proven ability to influence, close sales, and provide technical product knowledge.
  • In‑depth financial background in home lending and asset‑based lending with focus on high‑net‑worth clients.
  • Deep analytical skills and business perspective to anticipate issues and address their impacts.
  • Strong client focus and communication skills.
  • High confidence in public speaking and strong communication skills.
  • Travel capability while leading a large territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Current NMLS preferred.
