Manager, Tax - Private Client

Forvis Mazars US seeks a manager to lead private client tax advisory services for individuals, multi-generational families, fiduciaries, and other ultra-high net worth clients.

Private Client tax advisors provide sophisticated tax compliance, consulting, and planning services. Our professionals include CPAs and JDs. Partnering with our financial planners and wealth strategists expands flexibility to help clients grow, preserve, and protect wealth.

• Provide tax compliance and tax advisory services to individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, and private foundations.
• Develop, build, and manage client relationships as part of the proposal process.
• Participate in networking activities to expand business opportunities and client relationships.
• Maintain functional expertise and understanding of a client's business or family structure to address client concerns and challenges.
• Assist with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff.
• Review and manage projects prepared by tax associates and seniors.
• Effectively delegate responsibilities and monitor engagement team efforts.
• Use technology tools in assignments and commit to improving work processes through technology.
• Research complex tax issues, apply findings to projects, and communicate those findings in writing.

• 5+ years of related experience in public accounting, law firm, or trust department.
• Bachelor or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA license or J.D. degree with bar admission.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements.

• Master's degree in Taxation or Law.
• Experience with One Source tax software.
