About the RoleAs a Business Analyst
, you’ll support an agile workstream team (either Integration or UI) to gather requirements, ensure delivery meets required needs, and ensure work will be accepted without any major issues.
- Perform requirements analysis and documentation activities such as:
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process observation;
Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications;
Create comprehensive documentation including user stories, use cases, process flows, and system requirements; and Maintain requirements traceability throughout project life cycles. - Conduct process analysis and improvement activities such as:
Conduct gap analysis between current state and desired future state;
Develop process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures. - Engage in stakeholder management activities such as:
Collaborate with business users, project managers, developers, and other key stakeholders. - Perform systems analysis and testing activities such as:
Analyze system functionality and performance to ensure alignment with business requirements. - Conduct data analysis and reporting activities such as:
Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision‑making.
- Minimum 7 years of experience.
- Bachelor's Degree; or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Hold an active government‑issued TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.
- Proven experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process observation.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Strong background in creating documentation such as user stories, use cases, process flows, and system requirements, with the ability to maintain requirements traceability throughout project life cycles.
- Experience conducting gap analyses to identify differences between current state and desired future state.
- Proficiency in developing process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management, including collaboration with business users, project managers, developers, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy‑in.
- Hands‑on experience analyzing system functionality and performance to validate alignment with business requirements, including participation in system testing and validation activities.
- Proficiency in data analysis, including creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision‑making.
