Overview

Data & Analytics - Senior Associate role s position supports the Digital Advisory team. We advise a blend of small, mid-sized and large US and multinational firms on strategy, technology, and transformation, process optimization, analytics enablement, systems implementations, automation, integrations, data management, and more. Join our multidisciplinary Data & AI team as we lead clients to achieve operational excellence through developing a deep understanding of their business and, based on that understanding, leverage technology, innovation, and automation to glean insights and maximize efficiencies.

Cohn Reznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

Role
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for reports, predictive analytics, and/or AI implementation.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and data modeling to support system design and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for client engagement including use cases, workflows, and data dictionaries.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them leverage their data to drive business value.
  • Develop and present analytics roadmaps, business cases, and implementation strategies to clients.
  • Communicate complex data concepts in a clear and business-friendly manner.
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data solutions delivered to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies in the data and AI space, including the Microsoft data platforms.
  • Evaluate and recommend data platforms, cloud solutions, and AI tools that align with business goals.
  • Ensure responsible AI implementation, including model fairness, transparency, and compliance with regulations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the analytics team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive knowledge-sharing and thought leadership in AI and analytics.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across industries to expand the firm’s analytics consulting practice.
Your Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university;
    Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science preferred
  • A minimum of two (2) years of technical data science experience within a professional services environment
  • Experience performing data science from data discovery, cleaning, model selection, validation, and deployment; experience coding artificial intelligence methods using object-oriented programming in a software development process, and ability to restructure, refactor, and optimize code for efficiency.
  • Expert problem-solving ability through the use and/or development of data science algorithms, models, testing, etc.; ability to utilize a diverse array of technologies and tools as needed, to deliver insights, such as R, Python, Spark, Hadoop and emerging Cloud Capabilities on Azure, GCP and/or AWS; experience with command-line scripting, data structures, and algorithms
