Summary:
The Project Manager provides overall leadership and direction for all aspects of the Enterprise Data Platform delivery. This role ensures that project scope, schedule, milestones, SLAs, security requirements, and reporting obligations are executed in alignment with client expectations. The PM serves as the primary point of contact (POC) and is responsible for governance, communications, risk mitigation, and cross‑team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of the Enterprise Data Platform, ensuring alignment with the Statement of Work (SOW), deliverables, and milestone dates.
- Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), detailed schedule, RAID logs, communication plan, and quality management plan.
- Manage dependencies across integration teams (Salesforce, MS Dynamics CRM, RDS legacy systems, Acumatica, AWS Connect).
- Oversee weekly status reporting, quarterly performance reviews, and all required documentation deliverables.
- Enforce scope control, change management processes, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with the Solution/Data Architect, Dev Sec Ops Lead, and Governance/Security teams to ensure compliance with AWS Gov Cloud, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and organizational data governance policies.
- Ensure proper testing cycles (unit, integration, automated testing, UAT) are executed and documented.
- Drive stakeholder communication between technical teams, business users, and governance work groups.
- Lead transition planning and delivery of final transition documentation.
Required
Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years managing complex data platform, analytics, or cloud modernization projects.
- Demonstrated success delivering projects involving AWS Gov Cloud, Snowflake, data ingestion pipelines, and enterprise data products.
- Expert in PMBOK, Agile/Scrum, and hybrid methodologies.
- Excellent communication, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across architecture, engineering, Dev Sec Ops , testing, and governance.
- Experience supporting performance-based SLAs and firm fixed price (FFP) program environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, SAFe, CSM, or similar certifications
- Experience with Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, Kafka/Open Flow
- Experience with data governance, master data, or UDM concepts
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud security frameworks
