Cloud Engineer

What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is looking for an IT Senior Associate to be a part of our Cloud Management team, with a focus on management of our Azure/AWS environment. This individual will work in a team to manage our cloud infrastructure that supports the diverse needs of the organization.

• Administer and maintain all Azure/AWS accounts and resources
• Develop and execute Terraform script processes for system buildout and modifications
• Configure Okta integration with multi-cloud hosted solutions
• User Management via Entra AD and Okta
• Strong knowledge of cloud specific products that can replace legacy compute infrastructure
• Support existing infrastructure and troubleshoot as necessary
• Experienced in executing BCP/DR for cloud hosted solutions
• Desire to administer a multi-cloud enterprise environment

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university plus 6 years of experience; OR 10 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Azure or AWS Certified Associate Certification Required (minimum)
• Experience with Azure or AWS management is required
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Experience in Compute Infrastructure Management and Azure/AWS Cloud (IaaS & PaaS).
• Strong multi-cloud skills (Azure, AWS, GCP) including Control Tower, Kubernetes, Azure Portal and VPC
• Terraform/Github experience is required
• Intermediate to Advanced Linux systems administration skills
• Candidate must have strong AWS or Azure knowledge and willingness to share with other team members
• Need to have a good grasp on network/infrastructure design
• Need to be comfortable interfacing and communicating with others
• Team-oriented, mission-oriented, self-starter, highly motivated, adaptable, strong communications skills, collaborative, results-driven and manage stress in a fast-paced environment
• Experienced in managing cloud specific solutions
• Experienced with Cloud Shell and terraform scripting
• Able to effectively communicate with wide range of clients and coworkers
• Capable of quickly learning and delivering solutions as an individual and as part of a team

• Okta experience is a plus
• Experience implementing AI solutions like Bedrock is a plus
• Experience in administering and maintaining Kubernetes environment
• Experience with Google Cloud is a plus
• Experience with STIG policies
• Preference will be given to candidates who are located within 50 miles of a Guidehouse office
