As we're growing, we have an urgent need for an experienced Microsoft 365 System Administrator to help operate and secure our newly established Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment. Since this is on a cleared facility you MUST BE a US CITIZEN.

This is a hands‑on, senior‑level Microsoft 365 role supporting a 200+ employee organization. You’ll own tenant configuration, security posture, governance, and automation while partnering closely with IT leadership, internal support staff, and a third‑party MSSP.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting Microsoft Government Cloud (GCC or GCC High) and understands environments that handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

• Administer and harden Microsoft 365 GCC
• Secure identity with Entra , Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and Identity Protection
• Manage devices with Intune and Windows Autopilot
• Deploy and operate Microsoft Defender (Endpoint & Office 365)
• Configure Microsoft Purview (DLP, retention, sensitivity labels, eDiscovery)
• Govern Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and external collaboration
• Build Power Shell / Graph automation for reporting, compliance, and remediation
• Maintain tenant baselines, documentation, and audit evidence (NIST SP 800‑171)
• Integrate and secure third‑party SaaS applications via SSO
• Act as an escalation point for the Helpdesk and MSSP
• 5–7+ years administering Microsoft 365 in a mid‑size environment
• Must be US Citizen
• Experience with GCC or GCC High

• Strong experience with Intune, Defender, Entra , Exchange Online, Teams, and Purview
• Comfort with automation, documentation, and security‑first operations
• Experience supporting remote and hybrid work forces

• Microsoft certifications (Endpoint, Security, Identity)
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Intune Suite, or Copilot for Security
• Tenant migrations, domain changes, or hybrid identity projects
