We are seeking a strategic and experienced Training Manager to embed into the Engineering & Construction (E&C) strategic business unit to lead and transform their organization's learning and development initiatives. As the Manager of Training, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive training strategies that align with E&C’s business objectives and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
You will lead a team of learning professionals, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to enhance employee capabilities and drive organizational performance.
- Leadership and Team Management:
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the training team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Training Strategy:
Develop and execute a forward-thinking learning and development strategy that supports the organization's short-term and long-term goals, ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Learning Needs Analysis:
Conduct thorough learning needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements for employees at all levels. Use data-driven insights to inform the creation of targeted learning interventions. - Learning Design and Delivery:
Lead the instructional design process in conjunction with the Content Development Manager, ensuring that learning content is engaging, effective, and tailored to various learning styles and preferences. Implement a mix of learning modalities, such as e-learning, instructor-led training, workshops, and mentoring. - Learning Technology:
Stay abreast of learning technologies and trends, recommending and implementing suitable learning management systems (LMS) and other digital tools to enhance learning experiences. - Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage the training budget, optimizing resources to achieve the maximum impact on employee development and organizational performance. - Performance Management Integration:
Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to integrate training initiatives into the performance management process, ensuring alignment with career progression and succession planning. - Training Analytics:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and ROI of training programs. Use data analytics to continuously improve and refine training interventions. - Compliance and Standards:
Ensure that all learning and development activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices. - Provide regular reports and updates on the impact and effectiveness of training initiatives to senior management.
