Overview
As a stylist, you are a true gorjana ambassador! Wearing, layering, and styling looks for our customers. You demonstrate a genuine passion for creating an elevated customer experience in our retail stores. Your goal is to bring brand awareness, product knowledge and the art of layering to life through intentional customer service.
Responsibilities- Customer Service: you approach guests proactively in a warm and welcoming manner to help make a difference in their day; you are a brand ambassador eager to share your passion for gorjana with others; you curate memorable experiences for each guest, surprising and delighting them with our service standards; you deliver exceptional customer experience to ensure we create brand loyalty and build lasting relationships with all customers;
you are aware of customers at all times and may be responsible for holding keys to caselines in accordance with best practices and LP strategies; you are solution-oriented, using available resources to handle customer concerns in the moment and seek partnership if needed to ensure the customer leaves fully satisfied; you may be asked to deescalate/report customer service concerns or incidents and submit an incident report. - Styling: you wear gorjana jewelry to work each day, creatively layering stacks to inspire guests and demonstrate gStyle standards; you develop expertise in our collections and product offerings to guide guests through styling decisions, using tools and resources to inform and educate on the products; you confidently present curated styling choices highlighting intentionality, versatility and personalization to the customer’s needs.
- Sales: you leverage deep product knowledge and elevated, intentional language to drive meaningful connections and results; conversion is approached authentically, focusing on creating a lasting experience rather than forcing sales; you are self-motivated to improve personal and team performance and take pride in owning your progress and using internal resources for development; you champion team success and customer satisfaction by participating in and encouraging team-selling on the sales floor.
- Collaboration:
you contribute to a people-first approach by being positive, helpful, and respectful; you exhibit a team player mindset and enjoy working toward a common goal; you look for opportunities to pitch in to support your team, store leadership, or customers; you welcome feedback and use it for personal and professional growth while respecting leadership direction. - Operations: you are comfortable leveraging technology (POS) to support daily store operations; you maintain floor standards by following visual directives and keeping the store environment attractive; you take initiative to restock and complete tasks during downtime; you help fulfill Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and Same Day Delivery orders; you assist with receiving weekly allocation shipments; you follow service standards and processes and handle team equipment with best practices;
you may help open or close the store and handle a store key and alarm code; you may assist with labeling or re-ticketing items.
There may be times when you are asked to help facilitate additional duties in the store or serve as a point-of-contact for Business Partners in the absence of a Manager. Some duties are outlined below but this is not exhaustive.
- You conduct weekly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and support effective product allocations.
- You execute monthly floorset directives highlighting new product launches; you may submit floorset pictures to corporate for approval.
- You handle weekly cash deposits, ensuring counts, balancing, and deposits are completed smoothly.
- You facilitate the weekly return of warranty items to the Warehouse, ensuring shipments are prepared, documented, and sent on schedule.
- You contact and utilize appropriate business partners for resources and guidance as needed.
- Love for the gorjana brand
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends or holidays as needed by the business
- Ability to lift or move at least 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach
- Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 6 hours per shift
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store is located
- Ability to open or close the store
