Access Agility, based in the Washington, DC metro area, provides IT and Cybersecurity solutions with a specialization in WiFi as a Service (WaaS). We deliver wireless networking services including design, structured cabling, installation, network management, and security. Our clients include leading government organizations such as FAA, DHS, VA, and DoD. In addition to systems integration using industry best products and practices, we also develop and market on-premise and cloud-based information security products for government and commercial clients.
Role Description – Outside Sales Executive (SLED)We are seeking a driven Outside Sales Executive – SLED (State, Local, and Education) to join our team in Tysons Corner, VA. This is a full-time, on-site role with a strong focus on new business development in the SLED market.
The Outside Sales Executive will be responsible for:
- Driving the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and closing new business opportunities
- Building relationships with key SLED decision-makers in the DC/MD/VA (DMV) region
- Leveraging industry knowledge and existing client relationships to accelerate growth
- Representing Access Agility’s IT offerings — prior experience selling Cisco, HPE, Meraki, Ruckus, or Mist is a must
- Managing deal registration with vendors to secure competitive pricing, especially using the Cisco Deal
- 3+ years of outside sales experience in IT solutions (Cisco, HPE, Meraki, Ruckus, Mist, etc.)
- Proven track record in new business development with strong existing SLED client relationships in the DMV area
- Demonstrated success with lead generation and closing complex IT solution sales
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools (we use Hub Spot)
- Cisco Sales Certifications, especially CCSE (Cisco Certified Sales Expert)
- Possesses a strong SLED client list for the DMV area
- Knowledge and ability to create accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and manage deal registration, including expertise in the Cisco Deal
- Experience obtaining quotes from distributor partners (e.g., TD Synnex, Ingram Micro) and navigating vendor programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Administration, Economics, or related field OR equivalent experience
