We are looking for a Librarian to join our team at Haur-Fakkan and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the library. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, be highly knowledgeable about library resources, and possess strong customer service skills. The Librarian's primary responsibility is to ensure that patrons have access to library resources while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include cataloging new materials, organizing existing materials, maintaining computer databases, researching topics using the latest technology, assisting patrons in locating information and materials, recommending books or other materials related to patron interests, organizing special programs such as book clubs or story times for children, and keeping accurate records of patron usage statistics.
