Chemical Engineer - Biometric Passport Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Engineer - Biometric Passport Specialist to join our team in Haur-Fakkan, UAE. As a specialist in biometric passport technology, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing biometric identification systems for the country's passport system.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct research and analysis on biometric identification technology and its application in passport systems
- Design and develop biometric passport systems that meet international standards for security and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate biometric technology into the existing passport system
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to biometric technology
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of biometric systems to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
- Train staff on how to use the biometric passport system effectively
- Monitor and maintain the performance of the biometric system, making necessary adjustments or updates as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with biometric technology, preferably in a passport or identity management setting
- Strong understanding of biometrics principles and applications

- Experience with software programming languages such as C++, Java or Python
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Prior experience working in the UAE
- Knowledge of Arabic language
