Merchandiser - Indian Nationals (Khawr Fakkan, UAE)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Khawr Fakkan, UAE. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to increase sales and profits through effective product placement and display.

• Develop merchandising plans based on market trends, customer preferences, and sales goals
• Collaborate with buyers to select products that align with the company's brand image
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of products
• Create eye-catching displays that attract customers' attention and drive sales
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or discontinuation of products
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper product placement and display compliance

• Proven experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role within the retail industry
• Strong knowledge of market trends, customer preferences, and product positioning techniques
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi is a plus)
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
