Senior Data Analyst; Business Management Analyst

Position: Senior Data Analyst (Business Management Analyst)
Looking to start a new challenge as a freelancer?  Gather, analyse and document business and reporting requirements from stakeholders.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Act as the bridge between business teams, data engineers and analytics specialists.
Define KPIs, business rules and data quality requirements.
Support data integration initiatives involving SAP, APIs, flat files and operational systems.
Collaborate on source-to-target mappings and data transformation requirements.
Coordinate testing activities and business acceptance.
Facilitate workshops to align business priorities with technical delivery.
Maintain functional documentation, process flows and data lineage.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation and business processes.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business Engineering, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst or Data Business Analyst.
Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
Solid understanding of enterprise data and analytics environments.
Experience working with SAP or ERP data.
Knowledge of Databricks, Lakehouse concepts or modern cloud data platforms is an advantage.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluent in French or Dutch, with a good working knowledge of English.
