Role Context
We are currently hiring for our   client in the banking industry   , a leading European financial institution with a strong focus on   digital transformation and AI innovation   . The organization is investing heavily in   Generative AI, conversational platforms, and cloud-native solutions   to enhance internal services across HR, Facilities, Marketing & Communications, and other business domains.

Role Summary
We are looking for a   Senior Python Back-End Engineer   with strong experience in   AWS, AI-driven applications, and backend development   .
You will design and build   scalable backend services for conversational AI solutions   , leveraging   Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG architectures   in a secure AWS environment. The role combines   backend engineering, cloud integration, and AI solution development   , in close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and data science teams.

Key Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into   technical AI and backend solutions
Design and develop   Python-based backend services and REST APIs
Build and deploy   RAG-based and Generative AI applications using AWS Bedrock and LLMs
Work with   AWS services (S3, analytics, integration tools, etc.)
Implement and maintain   CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
Perform   testing, code reviews, debugging, and production support
Ensure   system integration across multiple applications and platforms
Collaborate with   data scientists, architects, and cloud teams
Contribute to   chatbot and conversational AI development

Required Skills
5+ years of experience in   Python backend development
Strong knowledge of   AWS (especially Bedrock, S3, and related services)

Experience with   LLMs (e.g., Claude or similar models)
Understanding of   RAG architectures and GenAI applications

Experience with   REST APIs and system integration
CI/CD and Dev Ops experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate   business needs into technical solutions
Fluent xqknzec in   English   (Dutch is a plus)

Nice to Have

Experience with   Agile / SAFe environments
Knowledge of   testing and QA practices
Exposure to   enterprise integration environments
