About the Role

Integrate Engineering is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our clients busy fabrication workshop in Newton Abbot.

This role is critical in ensuring all fabricated steelwork meets required specifications, industry standards, and engineering drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspections, measurements, documentation, and maintaining quality compliance throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspect fabricated steelwork and approve work in line with specifications and drawings

* Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials

* Accurately interpret engineering drawings and verify measurements

* Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation

* Manage goods in/out processes in line with quality procedures

* Liaise effectively with production and workshop teams to ensure standards are maintained

Requirements

* Proven knowledge and experience in steelwork and fabrication (essential)

* Strong mathematical and technical ability

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

* Excellent attention to detail

* Strong communication and organisational skills
