Research Analyst

Job Description:

The Market Research Tech Analyst will be responsible for identifying and evaluating emerging technology and solutions, disruptive innovation, identify new use-cases for a given technology / innovation. Will be working in collaboration with internal / external key stakeholders to ensure the overall goals of the organization are met and that strategies are aligned

Key Responsibilities   Perform extensive research in a specified field, scout & explore opportunity to develop new technology/ innovation
Capitalize technology-driven innovations and identify new business opportunities from emerging technologies
Evaluation and competitive analysis of technologies from startup, university and other sources
Plan and carry out research projects in collaboration with internal / external stakeholders
Identify industrial stalwart partner & academia and establish strategic partnership for research and development
Manage technology projects with strategic partners that leads to the development of prototypes/ products
Create and present a structured roadmap focused on a set of promising areas, applications, and products based on research conducted
Identify Patentable / Intellectual property opportunities
Participating in seminars/exhibition/ conference and implement the key learning in the current business process
Prepare supporting documentation/ presentation to internal/ external stakeholders

Excellent reporting, business correspondence & procedure-writing skills
Should possess strong Analytical skills , critical thinking and attention to details
Should be able to use latest research and strategic tools and methodology to analyse and present the research findings
Ability to assess technical challenges in the short and mid term projects
Adopt to change with energy, passion and enthusiasm to drive improvement
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently moving them through planning to delivery
Proactive, forward thinking and ability to effectively and quickly synthesize disparate information into clear recommendations, actions and decisions
Should be good at Identifying gaps in the value chain, conduct need assessments and propose value based solution
Technical/Functional Proficiency Required
Should be good at grasping New Technology
Excellent in conducting Literature survey/research
Should be interested to study technical research journal paper, review literature, patents to understand the technology in detail
Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to rapidly gain/build trust and confidence of internal and external stakeholders
Deliver fantastic results quickly and effectively
Flexible in timings
Highly self-motivated and professional
Should try to establish credibility in technology, innovation and knowledge exchange networks

Educational Qualifications
BTech / MTech - Electronics and communication
Experience Level (If applicable)
1- 3 years of work experience
