Location: Isle of Man

Our client is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their team for a full-time position. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. In addition to daily accounting tasks, the Accountant will engage in strategic decision-making processes and provide insights that assist in achieving the company's goals. The role requires a proactive individual with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Job Duties:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Produce timely financial reports and analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Manage tax returns and ensure timely payments.
  • Liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
  • Stay up-to-date with financial legislation and industry trends.
Job Requirements:
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
