Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Burton-in-Kendal

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Burton-in-Kendal, who are recruiting for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary basis. This is a full-time position, and to be successful you will need to have experience in a similar role. This requirement is set to last around 6 weeks, and you will need to be available immediately.

Typical duties include:
Overseeing and supporting the Purchase Ledger function Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently Managing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries Preparing and processing supplier payment runs Supporting month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations Assisting with VAT return preparation Providing guidance and support to junior team members Performing any other ad-hoc tasks for the wider finance team

You will have:
