Role DescriptionThis is a Part-time, on-site role located in Coupar Angus for an Administrative Assistant Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, such as recording financial transactions, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and processing journal entries. Additional responsibilities include managing accounting software, assisting with payroll and VAT submission, and providing general administrative support to the office team like client facing and interacting.
Qualifications- Expertise in Bookkeeping, Journal Entries, and preparation of Financial Statements
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and cloud-based tools such as Sage or MTD platforms
- Strong understanding of Finance and financial principles
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in payroll, VAT submissions, and tax preparation is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an advantage
