Accounts Receivable Analyst – Hybrid (up to 4 days per week from home) – Brighton (BN1 4FY
)
Permanent. Salary £24,900 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience. Full‑time 37.5 hours per week.
Role Overview:
Working as part of the Finance Operations Department within the Accounts Receivable team, you will support a wide range of departments both in the UK and globally. The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate, complete and timely processing of payments, associated administrative tasks, investigating queries, supporting colleagues and adhering to necessary controls related to maintaining clear records and audit trails.
You’ll Do
- Support the time‑sensitive Daily Cash Application
- Investigate, clear and act on items held in Transfers Not Applied
- Own the Paystack process
- Own the Direct Debit Failure reports and support the team with HKSCB DD processes
- Act on Credit Card Failure report and ensure policies reflect correct balances
- Prioritise and maintain the SLA for the Accounts Receivable inbox, coordinating solutions with stakeholders and providers as required
- Support bank queries, investigations and escalations
- Support the Finance Operations Team with evidence gathering for regular audits
- Manage and clear Task List items for the Accounts Receivable Team
- Support investigation and data gathering for Worldpay queries
- Experience with in an Accounts Receivable and Insurance background
- Comfortable with payment allocations and reconciliations
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex data, and clearly communicate insights and trends
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads, meet tight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility for changes in working priorities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable taking ownership of problems to resolve issues
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
