Job Description

• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments in compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate coding and approvals of invoices.
• Prepare payment runs and ensure compliance with payment terms.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Applicant should have:

• Experience in accounts payable or a similar role within the accounting and finance field.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• An annual salary of £28,800 - £35,500, dependent on experience.
