Position: Accounts Assistant (some hybrid)
Location: Leigh

We are recruiting for a well-established and growing business seeking an all-round Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Ledger

Raising and issuing customer invoices
Allocating receipts and reconciling customer accounts
Chasing outstanding payments and managing aged debt
Resolving customer invoice queries

Purchase Ledger

Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Reconciling supplier statements
Preparing and processing payment runs
Dealing with supplier queries

Banking & Reconciliations

Daily bank postings and reconciliations
Monitoring cash receipts and payments
Assisting with cash flow reporting

General Accounts

Assisting with month-end processes
Journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations
Maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc reporting and administration
