We Build Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an Admin Assistant to support our clients growing office team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth administrative operations across customer service, project coordination, and general office duties in a dynamic scaffolding and access services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support including answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist with preparing and issuing quotes, invoices, and customer documentation.
  • Maintain and update client and project records in internal systems.
  • Coordinate with site teams to track project progress and update relevant paperwork.
  • Support scheduling and diary management for office staff and field personnel.
  • Assist with order processing and liaison with suppliers.
  • Help maintain office supplies, filing systems, and internal databases.
  • Deliver excellent customer service in person and over the phone, addressing enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Perform ad hoc administrative tasks to aid team performance and office operations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Strong organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently under limited supervision.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges.

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Previous experience in construction, scaffolding, or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with CRM or project management software.
