Inmans Primary School is a wonderful school located in the heart of Hedon, to the east of Hull. We are a community‑focused school that is always exploring new and innovative ways to support and serve our local community.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and well‑organised individual to join our busy school office team. The successful candidate will bring a positive, “can‑do” attitude and use their skills and initiative to support children, staff, governors and parents across all areas of school life.
Applicants should have experience in:
- A wide range of clerical and administrative tasks, including word processing
- Using Microsoft Office and other IT packages, with an awareness of up‑to‑date technologies
- Data protection and confidentiality procedures
- Management information systems
- Liaising with a broad range of service providers and stakeholders
We are seeking someone who is:

- Flexible Willing to support all aspects of school life
The role includes day‑to‑day reception duties alongside general administrative responsibilities, such as processing invoices and supporting the Inmans Helping Hands Shop and community meals programme.
This position offers the opportunity to work as part of a cohesive and effective administrative team. The successful applicant will work 2½ days per week, 8:00am–4:30pm Wednesday, Friday and another half day to be agreed. Additional hours may occasionally be required, with overtime payable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a strong commitment to supporting young people’s welfare, education and personal development.
