Temporary Finance Officer / Administrator
Hours:
22 ½ hours per week (flexible hours)
Salary: £14.35 per hour
Location:
Kidderminster Town Hall
Contract:
Temporary - 4 Weeks
Purpose of Job:
To provide financial and administrative support to the Council, assisting with finance processes and maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Assist with elements of the purchase ledger, including matching purchase orders to invoices.
- Assist with elements of the sales ledger, including raising sales invoices.
- Liaise with promoters and other external parties to assist in settling financial matters.
- Maintain and update accounting records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support the finance function with general account maintenance duties.
- Undertake general administrative and accounting tasks as required.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with Council procedures.
- Comply with Town Council Financial Regulations and Standing Orders.
- Comply with the General Data Protection Regulation at all times.
- At all times seek to provide efficient and effective administrative and financial support to the Council.
