Term TimeTynyrheol Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Administrative Assistant to play a key role in the smooth and successful operation of our school. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to join a dedicated and supportive team committed to providing the best possible outcomes for our pupils, staff, and community.
About the RoleThe Administrative Assistant will be the first representative of our school community and the first point of contact for many parents/carers and visitors. Therefore, a warm and professional approach is essential, whilst having the ability to remain calm and organised in a busy school and Federation environment. You will work closely with the Administrative Manager to ensure systems and processes are implemented effectively.
Responsibilities- Act as the receptionist for visitors to the school.
- Receive and respond effectively to incoming communication.
- Maintain pupil attendance and lunch records.
- Administer payments through Parent Pay.
- Arrange transport for school visits.
- Process orders and invoices on the finance system.
- Maintain the school's inventory.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
