An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join our team at Ardblair Medical Practice. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the safe and effective delivery of patient care through the efficient management of clinical correspondence and document workflows within the practice.
Job SummaryThe post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of incoming electronic and scanned correspondence using Docman. You will ensure documents are processed accurately, prioritised appropriately, and assigned to the correct clinician or team member in a timely manner. This role is essential in supporting clinical decision-making and maintaining high standards of patient record keeping.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and process incoming clinical correspondence via Docman
- Accurately assign and file documents within patient records
- Identify and prioritise urgent or clinically significant information
- Ensure timely workflow management to avoid backlogs
- Liaise with clinicians to resolve documentation queries
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and data quality
- Undertake basic clinical coding where appropriate
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team
- Support audit and data quality improvement activity

Salary£25,760 – £27,476 per annum depending on experience (37.5 hours per week).
