Supplementary Staffing Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Supplementary Staffing Assistant to join our expanding Supplementary Staffing Team. The team provides an essential support service to wards and departments by helping to coordinate supplementary staffing cover on an as–and–when–required basis. This role will support the recruitment, administration, communication and allocation processes required to ensure areas have access to appropriate supplementary staff when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with staff and managers to support shift–fill processes.
- Maintain accurate records of supplementary staff coverage.
- Assist with payroll–related administration.
- Contribute to the day–to–day running of a busy office–based service.
- Support the recruitment of supplementary staff as the service expands to additional areas within the hospital.
- Organised, proactive and approachable with good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Experience or competency in office–based administration preferred.
The post will be fully office based during the training period. Once the successful candidate is fully trained, the role will have scope for hybrid working.
