Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team. You will help the team to grow by taking on our existing administration tasks, support our Events Executive and find team volunteering opportunities with local charities.
9 month fixed term contract.
The Openwork Foundation has just had a record year, raising over £1m for local charities and this year we will do even more. This role will help create the space for us to put in new technology to help us be more efficient and help us deliver more events and volunteering to our people across the Openwork Partnership. Please note, this is a hybrid role based 3 days a week in our Swindon office.
- Salary - £26,000 pro-rata
- Bonus scheme - on target bonus - 7.5%
- Pension scheme - contribute up to 5% of your salary and Openwork will match you and put in an extra 5%

- Take over existing administration and reporting tasks for income, spending and record keeping, mostly using Excel.
- Work with the Foundation Executive to improve the information we record about the people who support our charity.
- Support our fundraising events by recording ticket sales, bookings and remotely helping with events logistics.
- Talk with local charities around Swindon to find volunteering opportunities for teams from our offices. Help with the event setup, booking and being a successful day.
- Support the team with other administrative tasks.
- Previous experience in an administrative role (charity, events, or office-based is preferred).
- Knowledge of the charity sector / internal payment processes is a bonus, but not essential.
- Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong collaboration and people-skills to be able to work with charities and community organisations.
- Highly organised with very good attention to detail.
- Open, approachable and supportive way of working.
