We are looking for a Security Vetting Administrator to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the security vetting function, ensuring sensitive information is managed accurately, securely and efficiently. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders, manage important documentation and data, and help ensure departmental objectives are delivered to the highest standards and within agreed timescales.
What youll be doing:
As a Security Vetting Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across the vetting process, helping to ensure information is handled securely and in accordance with established procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and databases, coordinating and verifying documentation, supporting system users and contributing to the efficient operation of the wider team.
• Maintain, update and retrieve information from electronic databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
• Coordinate, collate and verify documentation to support departmental delivery requirements and compliance processes.
• Provide a wide range of administrative support, including document management, meeting coordination, minute taking, record archiving and responding to enquiries.
• Support projects, facilities and system administration activities, including document control and system testing where required. What youll bring:
We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual with previous administration experience and strong organisational skills. You will be comfortable working with sensitive information, managing competing priorities and building effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels. Success in this role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and confidence in using a range of IT systems and software packages.
• Previous administrative experience, ideally within a fast-paced office environment.
• Good IT skills, including experience of databases, electronic record systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, manage workloads and maintain high standards of accuracy under pressure.
