Permanent Salary: £48,427 plus employer pension contribution of 6.8% and 30 days annual leave About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Executive Assistant to join the Executive Support Team at the Greater London Authority. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide high-level support to senior leaders, helping them manage competing priorities and deliver against key organisational objectives.
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to two Principals, managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings, overseeing governance processes, and building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation and beyond.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive executive support to two senior Principals, including complex diary management, meeting coordination, and planning activities over extended timescales. Coordinate briefing materials, speaking notes and supporting documentation to ensure Principals are fully prepared for meetings and engagements. Manage multiple competing priorities with confidence, sound judgement and discretion. Build and maintain productive relationships with senior stakeholders, internal teams and external partners.
Support governance and transparency processes, including Gifts & Hospitality declarations and Registers of Interest. Manage document clearance processes and absence authorisations. Undertake inbox management, including managing invitations, filing correspondence and maintaining organised records. Contribute positively to the wider Executive Support Team, sharing best practice and supporting colleagues when required. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience providing diary and inbox management support at a senior level. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to remain calm and effective when managing changing priorities and demanding workloads. Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. A collaborative approach and commitment to supporting team success.
