Are you organised, detail-focused and confident managing your own workload? We're currently recruiting for a temporary Grants Case Manager to join our client's team in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative and case management skills who enjoys working to clear procedures, making informed decisions and supporting the successful delivery of grant projects.
What you'll be doing:
Manage a diverse portfolio of grant projects, ensuring delivery is in line with relevant rules and regulations.
Manage your own caseload effectively, keeping systems, records and spreadsheets accurate and up to date.
Review grant applications and make consistent, evidence-based decisions in line with scheme rules and guidance.
Compile, check and report information accurately, including completing forms and reports.
Support the management of workload across the wider team when required.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear updates, information and timescales.
Support reporting on grant commitments and expenditure across the scheme.
Attend meetings and represent the Grants Team at stakeholder events.
Ensure key milestones and important deadlines are clearly communicated to project leads.
What we're looking for:
Previous administrative, case management or similar experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Confidence communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own caseload.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to check and verify information accurately.
The ability to follow established procedures while using your own judgement within agreed guidelines.
The ability to build positive and effective working relationships.
A proactive and reliable approach to managing deadlines and priorities.
Additional Information:
£15.58 per hour
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Hybrid working
Newcastle Upon Tyne
Basic DBS required
