We are recruiting for our client, a leading main dealership in Dorset, to appoint a skilled Diagnostic Technician. If you are an experienced Diagnostic Technician eager to further your career within a reputable and supportive environment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy workshop that recognises expertise and offers clear progression routes. Benefits:
Attractive basic salary up to £38,000, dependent on experience OTE of up to £42,000 achievable through bonus schemes Manufacturer-led training programmes to develop your diagnostic skills Clear career advancement opportunities within the dealership Monday to Friday working hours, 8 am to 5 pm, with just one in three Saturday mornings Modern workshop facilities, including five vehicle ramps and a dedicated MOT bay Supportive team environment alongside experienced technicians and apprentices Duties:
Identifying and diagnosing complex vehicle faults with precision and efficiency Performing diagnostic procedures and repairs across various vehicle makes and models Replacing timing belts and maintaining hybrid systems Utilising specialised diagnostic tools to pinpoint issues accurately Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality service Maintaining thorough and accurate repair records Candidate Specification:
Level 3 NVQ LVM or equivalent qualification Minimum of three years experience as a Diagnostic Technician or similar role Strong diagnostic expertise, particularly with modern vehicle systems

Experience with heavy mechanics and hybrid vehicle maintenance is highly desirable MOT testing qualification (preferred but not essential) Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a team environment If you are ready to progress your career as a Diagnostic Technician and join a forward-thinking dealership, we want to hear from you.
