Join Our Client in Edenbridge as a Vehicle Technician Our client, a well-established independent garage in the Edenbridge area, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. Specialising in comprehensive vehicle repairs, including servicing, diagnostics, tyres, wheel alignment, air conditioning, and MOT testing, the garage prides itself on delivering honest work and fostering long-term customer relationships. As their operations expand, they are seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to support ongoing growth. Competitive basic salary from £36,000 to £45,000, depending on experience Access to Bosch training programmes for MOT and technician accreditation Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am to 5pm, with 30-minute breaks No weekend work, bonuses, or overtime requirements Opportunity to work on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models, including light commercial vehicles Supportive team environment with diverse experience levels Potential progression into MOT testing and certification Duties:
Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance tasks Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults Conduct detailed vehicle inspections and fault-finding procedures Assist with repairs on light commercial vehicles such as transits and tippers Support other team members with general garage duties Maintain efficiency within a busy workshop environment Requirements: NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification, or equivalent, preferred Time-served technicians with relevant experience strongly encouraged to apply Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Flexibility and adaptability to different vehicle servicing requirements Willingness to undergo Bosch training and certification, including MOT qualification if applicable Prior experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models is desirable This role also offers individuals with Level 2 qualifications and some experience the opportunity to join qualification programmes, leading towards MOT certification.
