Vehicle Technician

We are seeking to appoint a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable independent garage situated in Macclesfield, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vehicle technician to join a well-established business operating from a state-of-the-art facility. - Basic salary circa £42,000, with higher pay available for Senior or Master Technicians
- Monday to Friday working hours, 8am – 5pm

Duties:

- Carry out vehicle diagnosis, repairs, and servicing to manufacturer standards
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
- Liaise with customers to explain repairs and provide estimates
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Keep work area clean and organised, ensuring a safe working environment
- Support junior team members when required

Requirements:

- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a professional workshop
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
