We're looking for a motivated technician to join our busy independent garage in Hawkhurst, Kent

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll work on a wide range of vehicles and carry out:

  • Servicing and routine vehicle maintenance
  • Mechanical repairs
  • Electrical fault-finding and repairs
  • Vehicle diagnostics
  • MOT preparation and vehicle inspections
  • Vehicle health checks
  • Using diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults
  • Completing work efficiently and to a high standard
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workshop
  • Following all health and safety procedures
About You

We're interested in hearing from experienced technicians and newly qualified mechanics
.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Automotive Technician
  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance (preferred)
  • Good mechanical knowledge

    Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • A genuine interest in vehicles and automotive repair
  • Good attention to detail
  • A reliable and professional approach
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A full UK driving licence (preferred)
