Vehicle Technician

Our client, a prestigious dealership in Canterbury, Kent, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their dedicated workshop team. • Competitive basic salary up to £37,000, with OTE reaching £45,000 through uncapped bonuses

• Monday to Friday working hours, with 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota (8:30am to 12:30pm)

• Conducting vehicle health checks using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Performing servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
• Carrying out repairs and warranty work to manufacturer standards
• Road testing vehicles to ensure fault rectification
• Completing all relevant service and repair paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction

• Full UK driving licence is essential
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification required
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, ideally within a main dealer or reputable independent garage
• Motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn new skills, particularly in hybrid and electric vehicle technology
• Ability to work to high standards and deliver excellent customer service
• Experience working with recognised brands is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
