Location: Tadworth and Epsom Downs

Assistant Service Manager – Epsom We are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Service Manager, Senior Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor to join a well-established, family-run main dealership in Epsom. Applicants must have previous Service Advisor experience within a busy automotive dealership, a strong understanding of service and repair processes, a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.

Epsom, Surrey Salary: £36,000–£40,000 basic  bonus

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am–1:00pm  Assistant Service Manager Company Benefits Birthday off Holiday allowance increasing with service Company pension scheme Life assurance for pension members Discounts on vehicles, servicing, parts and accessories Employee vehicle schemes, including zero-deposit options Cycle to Work scheme Occupational health and 24/7 employee support Recruitment referral payments Long-service benefits Ongoing training and career development Assistant Service Manager Role Support the daily operation of a busy dealership service department Manage customer service and repair enquiries, bookings and workshop capacity Liaise with technicians and Workshop Controllers to monitor repair progress Keep customers informed and resolve service-related enquiries Explain completed repairs and future maintenance recommendations Identify suitable opportunities for additional repairs and service plans Support warranty administration, dealership systems and accurate service records Assistant Service Manager Requirements Previous automotive Service Advisor experience within a busy main dealership – essential Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs and aftersales processes Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills Confidence managing workshop bookings and customer expectations Good understanding of dealership administration and systems Full UK Driving Licence – essential Right to work in the UK Previous Senior Service Advisor experience would be advantageous.

Kerridge dealership management system experience and familiarity with Volkswagen Group vehicles are desirable but not essential.
