Procurement Officer

Were looking for a Procurement Officer to play a key role in supporting and leading activity across a range of projects and categories. Along with a salary of £46,142 - £48,226 per annum, we offer flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance, the opportunity to work on impactful projects that contribute to regional growth and sustainability, professional development and a supportive team culture that values collaboration and innovation. This is a three year, fixed term contract initially.

• Managing complex projects and negotiations, ensuring value for money and strong supplier performance.
• Supporting the development of sourcing strategies that reflect our environmental and social values.
• Using data and analysis to inform planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and systems.
• Supporting and sharing knowledge with the procurement team, stepping into a leadership role when required to ensure continuity and progress.

• Previous experience in the role, including sourcing, contract management, and supplier engagement.
• ACIPS qualification(or equivalent), with a strong understanding of public procurement principles.
• A proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to solve problems and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence using digital tools and systems to support activity.
