Job Overview
As a Buyer , you will play a vital role in the procurement and supply chain function of a leading UK holiday home and lodge manufacturer based in Hull, East Yorkshire. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, components, and services needed across the business. You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that goods are delivered on time, within budget, and to the standards required to support the company’s production and commercial objectives.

Requirements
* Demonstrate previous experience within the caravan industry, with a strong understanding of products, suppliers, and market demands.
* Manage purchase orders from initial placement through to delivery, ensuring accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and timely receipt of goods.
* Monitor supplier performance and maintain clear communication to resolve any delivery or quality issues efficiently.
* Analyse market trends, supplier pricing, and product availability to support informed and strategic buying decisions.
* Negotiate pricing and terms where appropriate to achieve best value while maintaining quality standards.
* Collaborate closely with internal departments including production, sales, and operations to ensure stock levels, quality expectations, and cost targets are consistently met.
* Maintain accurate purchasing records and contribute to continuous improvement within procurement processes
