• Within the Procurement function, you can expect to be involved in a wide range of activities whilst working alongside Procurement Professionals, identifying appropriate and key capabilities within the supply base and aiding the development of innovative solutions.
• Lead the supplier selection and negotiation activities required by the business.
• Facilitate and lead effective supplier relationships and partnerships where necessary.
• Develop short, medium and/or long-term supplier strategies and relationships.

Attending Aston University, you will study a BSc (Hons) Degree in Supply Chain Management with Procurement.

The four-year scheme offers four different placements across the procurement function where you will learn and demonstrate skills required in Procurement, Commercial Management, Purchasing Principles for Global Supply Chains, Supply Chain Analytics, Developing Management Capability, Developing Leadership Capability, Managing Procurement Performance, Technology & Innovation, and Strategic Supply Chain Management.

Please note you must not book any annual leave within the first 3 months of your apprenticeship. Following this, leave will be considered depending on the individual training delivery schedule and must be approved by your line manager.

• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4 / A*-C which must include Maths & English
• 96 UCAS Points (or equivalent) (excluding UCAS points gained at AS level)
