Portfolio Procurement is seeking a Purchasing Manager for a leading client in South Yorkshire. This role involves managing the Purchasing department’s current and future needs, which includes supporting and coaching the team, negotiating contracts, and developing a global supply base. Candidates should have senior-level purchasing experience, strong knowledge of Steel and Fabrications, and be able to travel globally when required.
An understanding of lean manufacturing principles is also advantageous.
