Company OverviewRS Safety Solutions is the PPE division of the RS Group, providing PPE, Hygiene and Workwear products primarily to the Food Manufacturing sector in the UK and Ireland.
Job Responsibilities- Liaise with senior contacts to secure new business wins.
- Manage and identify a portfolio of new business targets.
- Accountable to deliver against a pre‑agreed sales budget.
- Sell added value within a portfolio and deliver increases where required.
- Research target sectors and product ranges to add new opportunities to the pipeline.
- Work seamlessly with colleagues and suppliers to best support the role.
- Identify potential targets, develop product ranges, develop associated sectors, cold call, network with suppliers.
- Proven track record in delivering significant new business wins, sustained over a period, ideally in a similar environment.
- Experience delivering on an ambitious target and demonstrating pipeline execution.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Capable of managing onboarding of new wins and liaising with partners to ensure a smooth transition.
- Experience managing a seamless transition when handing over contracted customers to an Account Manager.
