Procurement Officer

This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years of procurement experience who's hungry to develop, take ownership, and build their skills across the full sourcing lifecycle.

What you'll be doing
You'll work closely with the team across a number of categories and taking the lead on smaller projects yourself. Day to day, that means:

• Pulling together data and market analysis to support buying decisions
• Drafting tender documents
• Engaging with internal stakeholders to understand what the business needs
• Analysing supplier bids and helping to build award recommendations
• Supporting supplier negotiations and contract implementation
• Acting as a go-to contact for suppliers and colleagues with procurement queries
• Helping maintain our supplier lists and making sure everything stays compliant with policy
• Keeping contracts and records well organised and up to date

What we're looking for

• Previous experience within procurement or buying experience (or working towards CIPS)
• A solid grasp of commercial and contract basics
• Comfortable working with stakeholders at different levels
• Organised, proactive, and able to juggle priorities
• Good with data and confident using Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or e-procurement tools is a bonus
• A team player who's also happy to take initiative
