Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex procurement projects and negotiations
• Develop sourcing strategies aligned with environmental and social values
• Use data and analysis to inform planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring
• Identify and implement improvements to procurement processes and systems
• Support and mentor colleagues, stepping into leadership roles when required

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in public sector procurement, with a strong understanding of frameworks, compliance, and transparency
• CIPS qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong skills in contract management, supplier engagement, and strategic sourcing
• A proactive, analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Confidence using digital tools and procurement systems
