The opportunityWe are looking for a CRM Marketing Manager to lead Zurich UK’s CRM capability across Salesforce and Marketing Cloud. This role sits at the heart of our growth agenda. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for CRM marketing for Zurich UK – running targeted campaigns to customers and brokers, and designing & building the architecture that underpins our CRM capabilities.
You will work closely with Sales, Insight, Operations and Technology teams, and be a key collaborator driving growth and improving customer and broker experiences.
- Create impactful campaigns using direct feedback from customers and sales teams – campaign briefing, copywriting, email creation and optimization.
- Develop and execute customer engagement/acquisition strategies aligned with our growth plans.
- Partner with the insight team and Zurich data to deploy broker and customer audience segments and target relevant cohorts.
- Apply a Test & Learn approach, conducting regular A/B and multi‑variant testing, and use analytics tools for post‑campaign analysis.
- Design and continuously improve CRM architecture across Salesforce and Marketing Cloud; develop a roadmap to test and embed AI‑enabled approaches.
- Encourage teams across the business to unlock CRM potential, building and managing multi‑step customer journeys, trigger‑based and behavioural‑based email sequences, and supporting cross‑sell and upsell journey design.
- Deliver and verify business impact through collaboration with business teams, being measured on growth and customer KPI impact (e.g., tNPS, broker survey feedback).
- Experience as a Digital Marketer, Marketing Automation Specialist or CRM Marketing Specialist.
- Creative/design experience desirable and/or HTML/CSS experience.
- Experience building or re‑architecting CRM environments from basic to advanced level.
- Experience operating within complex or regulated environments (insurance or financial services desirable).
- Line management experience.
- Experience working with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud, including Salesforce CRM configuration and execution of journeys within Marketing Cloud.
- Good understanding of integrations and system connectivity.
- Understanding of CRM governance and compliance data considerations.
- Familiarity with AI or automation tools within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate commercial objectives into CRM architecture.
- Comfortable influencing at senior and leadership level.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical capability.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands‑on.
